Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “küçümencik sindirilebilirler”) tanımlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine bağlanmasıyla oluşan gücük polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino hamız lafıntısı ile ötekisi arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” yahut peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (yahut çok nüshada polipeptit madun birimi çitndırır). Gerçek fark peptitlerin gücük, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi esnasında her amino hamız, öteki amino asite ruzuşeb, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle bağlanır. Polipeptid strüktürsına sertlan amino asitlerin her biri strüktürya peptid bağlarıyla bağlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu esnasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir ab çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Ortalama bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Bilinen en uzun polipeptit, kestirmece 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda kâin “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine sertlan amino asitlere lafıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki lafıntı, bağ yapmamış, boydak amino grubu çitndırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin öteki ucundaki boydak α-karboksil grubu olan lafıntıya C ucu adı verilir.
